If you email or WhatsApp us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, contact details, question or travel quotation. For the free Package Value Check trial, please do not send passport copies, payment-card details, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.

If you choose a WhatsApp, Maps, social-media or other external link, you leave Backpack Stays and the third party’s own privacy terms apply. Package Value Check messages sent through WhatsApp are processed through WhatsApp as well as by Backpack Stays for responding to your request.

We use information to operate and improve the website, understand which travel content is useful, respond to enquiries, review voluntary package-check requests, correct content and protect the service from misuse.
Sharing and sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate communications, analytics or hosting, subject to their applicable terms. We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention and choices
We keep communications only as long as reasonably useful for the purpose they were sent, operational records or legal requirements. You can decline Analytics in the website prompt.
