BEFORE YOU BOOK THE BOAT
Faster and common on island tours, but the ride can feel harder in choppy water. Think twice with toddlers, elderly parents, back/neck issues or strong seasickness.
Can feel steadier and easier for some families, but may take longer and is not available on every route/operator. Compare the actual vessel, boarding and itinerary.
May–October planning: wetter-season months can bring rougher Andaman conditions. Keep sea days flexible and follow operator/marine safety calls. Do not force a tour because Day 2 says island day.
